NEW ORLEANS – Friday, October 23, 2020 – While the Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance does not officially endorse any political candidates, GNOHA is releasing this #PutHousingFirst Candidate Scorecard as an indicator of a candidate’s concern, or lack thereof, regarding affordable housing. As early voting for the November Presidential Election is currently underway, we encourage voters to consider the scorecard as they go to the polls. With so many more families now vulnerable to housing insecurity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important that political candidates are knowledgeable, fair and willing to #PutHousingFirst.
